We've hit the history books! 6 inches of beautiful snow and crazy weather. Genny wasn't able to make it into work, so we went for a 6 mile walk to Walmart and back. On the way back, we helped two people because of car trouble, one sliding out on the snow. It's pretty icy here. We got to see cars skate around like on an ice skating rink. The problem in Seattle is it is HILLY. We live on top of a huge hill. Last night we watched an ambulance with chains try to climb up the hill alongside our house. It couldn't make it so it slowly backed its way back down.
Here's what I make for Genny as her lunch every day :)

You guys are so brave to walk around in the snow. Ben and I just hibernate.
What a cute lunch! What is Genny gonna do when you start working?! Did you guys make it to California ok?
Wait a minute! Because of somebody's prayer (see the previous original post) all Russian snow moved to Washington!!! Because ONE sister (even the most prominent one) was not really anxious to go to work, all the vast country of Russia got snowless!! When can I get my snow back??? :)))
My mind must be in the gutter, I guess I just didn't have my glasses on... But for a moment I thought you had strategically positioned the grapefruits making them look like boobs :)!
Are they grapefruits or oranges? Doesn't matter, I thought it looked like a smiley face with fruit snack and granola bar being eyebrows.
haha, let's clarify. They are mandarines, and it's a smiley face with eyebrows! :)
You guys are brave to walk that far in the snow! Not in a million years would I want to do that! haha.
