We've come to the following conclusion in this lovely state of Washington: rain or shine, you've just got to get out of the house. So that's what we did! Though dark clouds were covering the sky, we set off to hike to Twin Falls! It was a moderate 3 mile hike, and was oh so very beautiful. Fern Gully!
The obvious happened as we were driving to the trail--RAIN! Irresponsibly, we did not prepare ourselves for that. So we did the best we could with a couple of plastic bags to protect Elena:
Fortunately, the sprinkles went away as we got closer and closer to the waterfall. It was a gorgeous hike! We now vow to not let the sprinkles ever stop us from getting out of the house. In fact, they added to the beauty of the hike.
