Come to mommy!

Elena's crib is enclosed on three sides: by wall #1, wall #2, and our elevated bed.  The only way to pull her out is from its remaining side.  She usually crawls to the free end, stands up, and calls for us to come and get her when she wakes up from a nap.

Today she didn't.  She awoke from her nap, crying hysterically.  I went to the bedroom, and there she sat, on the other end where the wall was, crying away.

"Elena, come to mommy".  She didn't budge.
She looked so confused and sad.
"Elena, come here, come to me."  She still didn't move.
So I began to walk away.
Tears began collecting in her eyes as her cry grew louder.  She obviously didn't want me to leave.  She seemed stuck in her sad little world.
"Elena, come to mommy!"  I reached for her as far as I could, and she finally came close enough for our hands to touch.  I then was able to pull her out, and calm her down.  She must have had a nightmare!

I then imagined how we sometimes do this with our Heavenly Father.  He calls, "Come to me!" as we sit there, hysterical, sad in our own little worlds.

Oh, My! Poor Elena!
Practically blokes every side. Aren't you frustrated?

Babies are intelligent.

You have to give her chance to crawl out. it is part of the growing and do not under estimate Elena.

As they progress, they know how to crawl out of the crib without hurting.

All your siblings did including you.
Give chance to Elena Too!

Suggestion;move the crib the way was before.

Where is Elena's picture?
Love to see her!forti
