So I've been told by a great many that I am low-maintenance. Some even say that I am too low-maintenance. It might be true. I rarely buy things for myself. I own less clothes than my husband. I picked out my very affordable wedding band in 15 minutes after walking into our first ring store. I go running with my dad's old hand radio. My mom said that I am going to be the richest person in the family because I am not a spender. (However, I will most willingly blow a buck on travel. We've all got a $oft $pot!)
I don't like to shop. In fact, the last time I bought some shirts was when I was 6 months pregnant and
had to; you know what I mean?
But it's getting pathetic. Today as I dressed myself in a
D.I. shirt (that I bought in 2002) and Dan's cargo shorts, I realized,
it's time. I'm on the borderline of "letting myself go".
I hate to admit this, but it felt great to buy myself some clothes. However, I'm still keeping my low-maintenance profile :) (Thank you Kelly for helping me out today!)
