Hurray for diversity!

I used to feel cheated as an American.  Our country is so new!  Where's our thousands of years of culture?  No fair!  I'd look at the rest of the world and awe at their unique villages and traditional dances.  However, there's something I forgot--we are a melting pot nation.  Which means, those who have migrated here brought a peice of their culture too!

Dan and I got to enjoy a peice of that this weekend.  We attended Renton's Polynesian Culture Festival and enjoyed great food and dancing islanders.  For diversity!  And hurray for those here who share it with their community.
