hike + bike + sun = great weekend

These last two days were GLORIOUS!  We hiked the Cal Magnusson Trail (in Enumclaw, WA) on Saturday.  It's amazing how bright the forest is here.  I think it compensates for the grey skies.  Sunday after church, we biked to the Foothill trail, which had a spectacular view of Mt. Rainier.    It was so great to not have to wear jackets today!  Elena generally enjoyed the bike ride, but ended up screaming most of the way back.  We stopped at the park to let her get some exercise and found her with a little vomit on her clothes.  Poor little lady-- the ride must have been a little too swervy.  After the park she refused to sit in the trailer and clung to me, resting her head on my shoulder whenever I tried putting her in.  We walked the rest of the way home.
