So I took it down, which left my dining room/kitchen looking barren. Have no fear, when paint is near!!!
First I painted the walls this yellow/green. It looked interesting with my dark brown cabinets.
Then I painted the cabinets white. Love the cabinets.
Then the walls started to play tricks with my eyes...
Our skin started to look yellow/green...
I started getting anxiety at night...
So I repainted the walls beige.
Made my first craft.
And am pleased.
How on earth did God create such a beautiful world in 6 days when it took me 6 days to paint my kitchen? Because He's awesome. :) I wonder if He had moments of "that looks odd" like I did. :)

I bet he thinks that when looking at you. Oh snap!
Oh Dianne, I was thinking of you the other day!!! I'm so happy that you just posted that :) Oh Dianne... :)
Looks great! I'm impressed it only took you twice to figure out what color you wanted the walls. It takes us painting the walls 5 times, each in a different color, before we decide it looks good.
In order to succeed, Edison failed 5000 times..
You are doing good.
So when you were telling me this - I thought it was in the distant past. I didn't realize you just did it! Looks great.
And -- LOVE Elena's look in the pic. haha :)
Love the craft! and the walls! Good job! Maybe its the paint fumes that have presented the melancholy :)
