the long haul

Today as I was self-analyzing my lack of desire to cook and clean, I thought about my 2 year old daughter's home environment and realized that there are many more years to come.  How did my mom do it!?!?!

I thank Daniel, who, during our Christmas break together cooked and cleaned a whole lot more than I did.  I bet he was excited to return to work today! :)

I just want to know the secret of endurance.  The magic spell to think, "Oh yippity skippity, I get to cook and clean today!"

I just want to know.

P.S.  Christmas was great.  Elena really enjoyed her cardboard box from Santa.
