Independent happiness

I was talking to a girl yesterday, and I observed,
"You are such a happy person."
She told me her secret:
"I've learned to not be emotionally dependent."
She has learned not to be dependent on things, the weather, people, etc. for her happiness.
She really does look on the bright side of things.
And hearing about her life, I've learned that she has passed through trials,
but the way she speaks of them, I see how optimistic she is.
I loved it.
I remember when I first went to college, I started to exercise alone.
And I felt lonely.
I was used to exercising with my sports team.
But slowly, I learned to enjoy the solitude.
I remember the billions of times I complained about the rain since being in Washington.
And I'm sure those that heard me complain, loved hearing me complain.
Sorry guys.
But last week, I bought better rain gear.
I'm getting ready, with a smile.

bwahahaha, this post was totally not directed to you, promise! :) I never wear rainboots, but I did invest in a raincover for the stroller!

I love hearing about the update. How are things? Did you ever find your phone? Hope all is well.

"Happy people" share their happiness with others.
That is "good" vibration.

"Unhappy people" expect that other people make them happy.
That is "bad" vibration.
