Dan sang; we were bad parents.

Yesterday evening, Dan performed with the stake choir at a Christmas Celebration.  (Note to self-- do not bring children to non-children-friendly functions.)  Dan was so happy up there, performing with his black bow-tie and singing LA LA LA.  But let me tell you,  I was glad when it was over (4 hours later).  I will post a picture of Dan in his awesome bow tie when I get a copy.

Dan and I basically were the worst parents yesterday.  No, we didn't beat her, but I yelled at her to go to bed.  And because she was screaming, Dan covered her mouth, which of course only made matters worse.

Like I said, worst parents ever.  Good thing Elena is pretty forgiving.  (really, she is: Dan accidentally dropped her on her head at church today.)
