Yesterday Grandma Higdon turned 101. 101!
We got to chat on the phone.
"It’s amazing the things I can tell people that they have
never heard about. That’s how old I am...
The brain is powerful…I’ve been thinking about all the
things in my lifetime. In the classroom
where I went to school when I was little.
It’s nice to be able to remember all of these things"
She told me that recently she has been able to remember events and people in her life that she had long forgotten. It's like she is viewing her life story. Which makes me think that she's not going to live that much longer.
