I can't believe it has been two years since we've been to this glorious place. I vow to not be super pregnant during the summer EVER AGAIN! (well, we'll see...)
Mt Rainier is, hands down, our favorite place to hike in Washington State. The views are breathtaking.
Upon arrival into the park, Elena peed her pants. And since we didn't have spare underwear, Dan decided to give her one of Michael's diapers. When Elena's second pair of pants were soaked from the snow, Dan was embarrassed to take them off, exposing our almost-4-year-old with a diaper. Elena didn't seem to care. :)
So yes, we hiked along the Skyline trail, and hit a bit of snow-covered trails. But that didn't stop us! (Well, there was no turning back at that point.)
I'd like to call myself a nature studlett, but the reality is that I am scared of bears, and so I won't camp, which makes me a wimp. Don't worry, we will camp one of these days. Enjoy the pretty pictures!
P.S. And yes, Michael is wearing a girl's hat, which previously belonged to Elena. I got a lot of comments that "she is so cute!" Sorry Michael. We are a hand-me-down family, you know. ;)
