Recent Events

Well, I guess some eventful things we did the last two weeks were:

- Helped a family put a base coat of primer on the outside of their house.  (Well, Dan did most of the help from the Phillips family.  I was with the kids.  And let me tell you, kids are more work!) It was all worth helping in the end, because in their thanks, they said that we can come by and sit on their porch whenever we wanted!  (Which is a big deal, because they live on a farm, and it's fun to escape to the rural life.)
(That's the owner's father, not Dan)

-The Washington State Fair!  Rides, farm animals, food...  We actually weren't planning on going this year, but we got free tickets.  And to continue with the free theme, I vowed not to spend a dime.  NOT A DIME!  Poor Elena.  There were plenty of free things she enjoyed, so I didn't feel like a total Scrooge.

-Speaking of free, a few weeks ago I lost my stroller.  Then last week, I found TWO free strollers on the side of the road.  WIN! WIN!

-I gave Dan a much needed hair cut.  Then I fixed his horrible hair cut two days later.

(That's Dan's hair with whatever was on the kitchen floor that day)

-Elena continues to "play" with Michael.  He's either laughing with her, or crying because of her.

-We're debating on putting Elena in preschool 2-3 times/week.

That's it for now!
