So for the first week, Grandma Sue came from Boise and helped out A TON! We have no idea what we would have done without her. She made life so much easier, taking care of the baby way late at night when we had reached our final straw, cleaning the home, doing the laundry, and cooking wonderful meals. The only rest she took from it all was to sit down and read her scriptures. We love you Grandma Sue!
Today (Sunday) was an eventful day for BGP (Baby Girl Phillips)! She went to church for the first time (we stayed hidden out in the hall). Then she came home and her last piece of umbilical cord fell off! The night wouldn't be complete with falling asleep on daddy, and after 6 hours of a dry diaper, she was resting on daddy taking a nap. What a surprise it was to stand up after an hour and find that she peed and pooped so much that daddy's shirt and sweat pants were wet!
We're so proud of our BGP!
