Soooo... while in Utah I didn't realize that only 2 days after I returned, I would be leaving again. This time to Southern California to see my family!!!! Dan was devastated. Poor guy. So we decided to make the most of our Sunday and Monday together.
Sunday we relaxed. Dan and Elena were both getting over colds, so they took a nap. After they woke, we drove over to "Golden Gardens", a beach west of the Ballard Locks. It was only a 30 minute drive. I love how nature can be so close.
Monday we called up a couple of friends and met at Coulon Park, which touches Lake Washington. There we enjoyed each others' company as we had a yummy bbq!!! Sorry, no picture :(
