My how the tables have turned!

I (Dan) don't typically post on our blog. But recent events merit recording!

Event 1 - Elena's first (Official) day at Nursery
According to the Church Handbook of Instructions, children begin attending Nursery at the age of 18 months <ref>. We've known this all along, but Elena has been unofficially attending nursery on several occasions (in California, Australia, Skyway...) as Genny likes to bend the rules and sneak her in now and again. I admit, she really enjoys being in Nursery. Genny did her hair up beautifully for the event!

Event 2 - Everybody got sick
Ah, the Man Cold, Genny points out that I become a complete weak invalid when sick while her much stronger immune system quickly combats the cold and she's better in no time. I've described the Genny Cold phenomenon as "I think I'm getting sick, "Cough, cough. Well, I'm better now!" She has no sympathy. As the Common Cold tends to level me flat, keeping me from work several days, and staying with me for several days to weeks if not curbed quickly, I thought I'd do some research. Wikipedia is great! The severe symptoms many of us experience while being sick are a result of a strong immune system! The symptoms (e.g. Sinus Pressure) of a cold are a result of your immune system's response to the virus. The stronger the response, the stronger the immune system. There are individuals who have weaker immune systems who are just carriers of the virus, but show no symptoms as the immune system does not respond to the intruder. Well, Genny's immune system kicked in a day after her post:

My how the tables have turned! It's nice to know that Genny's mortal. Although I'm jealous how quickly she can curb a cold.

Event 3 - Elena knows how to count! Genny noticed this a few days ago. Genny said "One" and Elena responded with "Two". Genny repeated "Two" and Elena said "Three" here's a video:

Impressive!  (In Genny's defense, Elena used to say four as "fork'.  Genny was not trying to promote dirty sounding words...)

Well, it's a Sunny Easter, and we're all home sick. Hope your Easter is Sunny and bright!
Christ is Risen!
