What a week!

Man, this week i was feeling so uncomfortable being pregnant.  And when you're that uncomfortable, mothering doesn't sound like so much fun.  I was so impatient with the children-- I kept threatening that I would send them away.

On Tuesday, after a bunch of disobedient stunts, I finally said, "That's it!  I'm leaving!  When Daddy comes home from work, I am going AWAY!"

Elena freaked out, "Noooo, don't leave us!  Where are you going?  Are you going to come back?!?!"

"Yes, I'll come back.  You'll see me when you wake up after bed."

And that's what I did.  Dan biked in, and I stormed out saying, "Goodbye Dan, I need a break from these disobedient children!  I'm going to Southcenter (the mall)."

Dan, "Uh, ok?"

As I headed to the car, the children both ran after me crying while Elena screamed, "Don't leave, Mooooom, MOOOOOOOM!"  Cry cry cry.  I ended up going to the movie theater by my-glorious-self and watched the latest X-Men movie.  It was such a great date.

this photo is actually unrelated, but you can get the idea of how devastated they were:

And this kid pooped pellets on the carpet a couple days later:

So... there's an explanation as to why I was so uncomfortable!  On Thursday I went to my OBGYN appt and found out that baby Cora was laying transverse across my belly!  And by today, Friday, she continued to rotate where her head was up and legs were down.  BAD BAD BAD.  I went to the hospital and underwent an external cephalic version, which was A SUCCESS!  After a lot of pushing and shoving, my doctor was successfully able to turn Cora head down.  WOOOOO HOOOOO!  I was so grateful.  If unsuccessful, then I would probably have had to deliver Cora via c-section.  And I didn't want to put my AMAZING BIRTHING HIPS to waste, ya know!?!?!  :)

So there's the update of the week.
In case Cora tries to flip, the nurse gave me this belly band to keep her more snug:

And after my hospital appt, I came home to the living room furniture disassembled in the kitchen.
Dan decided to go above and beyond, and carpet clean the whole house, after Michael's poopage.
