Since then, this is what we've done:
I cleaned our room. Imagine it previously covered in laundry, which was then moved to its proper location.
I took this picture to remind myself of how lovely it can look when arranged.
Elena is creative. I think she mimicked creating a hat after watching a Curious George episode.
She later put cranberries in it for a casual treat.
We lost power for an hour. I know, not a big deal.
Dan really needed a haircut, and I couldn't find the clippers. On Sunday he surprised me by gelling his hair. Someone at church said that he looked like Christian Bale. He's a Bruce Wayne Wannabee. hehehe.
It has since been cut.
Michael getting some Cora time. Cora is one patient baby.
This month I have Elena's preschool class. They meet once a week.
Here is Elena, telling a story to Cora.
Oh I forgot to add!!!
I took the kids to Camp Long (a mile away). It's like a hidden campground in the middle of the city.
Michael couldn't climb up the last part of the rock wall, so we did some team work.
And lastly, we went to Friday night skate night at Alki community center. It was a little painful/comical watching Elena fall all over the place. She has such amazing balance on a bike, but she can't quite figure it out on rollerskates yet. Despite the constant falls, she is enjoying herself quite a bit and wants to go back, so that's good. Michael, on the other hand cautiously moved slow and rarely fell.
Goodbye.
