3rd child syndrome

I just got back with the kids from the doctor's office.  Cora had her 9 month check up. 

Doctor: Do you read books to her?

Me: Oh whoops, not really.

What?

Well I read to the other kids and she's present.

Oh, well, that's good. So she's listening to it. Does she like music?

Um... maybe?  Sure,  I bet she does!  Maybe?

Wow, you aren't very observant, are you?

I nervously chucked.  The doctor, then sensing my embarrassment said,

She's like part of the litter, isn't she? :)

We then talked about Cora's eating habits, which mostly consists of breastmilk.  

I try introducing foods, I promise!  But she's not that interested!

After that conversation, I really wished I had gotten Elena out of her PJs and brushed her hair...
