I tell you, no one should raise their kids in Southern California because they can't survive anywhere else!! So really, this house was a great match for this CA girl. For the sunrise that comes throught these giant windows. When that warm light hits my closed eye-lids, it just brings me back to my childhood. (I feel embarrassed posting this picture. the more I live in Seattle, the more I see the swing of wealth to poverty. And the more I realize how very privileged I am.)
Elena playing photographer this morning. Sometimes these kids get along so well, and other times they are having a smackdown. Enjoying the moment.
I'm sad I couldn't be there, but my grandma turned 106 today (March 10th)
Coming out of hibernation. Meandered around Camp Long a few weeks back.
Go outside! Before we bought our home, we always lived in small spaces. the outdoors was my friend. Don't forget your friend! She's a beauty.
St Patrick's Day fun at Seattle City Center. The dancing was our favorite. Last night Elena wrote a note saying that she wanted to have fun on St Patrick's day. Her suggestion was to have us hide stuffed animals while she was sleeping so that she could search for them in the morning? Poor kid has to give us ideas. As if she knew we didn't have a plan. Thank goodness for google.
Just an old lady and a baby. Someone told me the other day that if you wear stripes, that means you are mischievous. There you have it.
Happy Birthday cousin Hanna! I'm so grateful for our family gatherings where I enjoyed seeing your beautiful smile, kindness, and giggles with my sister. We miss you here on Earth, and can't wait for our next reunion. (Old candid from my wedding)
Sorry ladies, this guy is taken. Last week's cold plus torn meniscus. Eeeeek!
Ventured for gold in Mt Vernon on this gray day. Had to work for it.
(Note to self--Hit "Snow Goose Produce" on the way out.)
Enjoyed watching LDS conference. Will be working on a few things to clean up in my life. (Probably like cutting down on my insta, hahaha) Hope it won't be as difficult as cleaning up blackberry weeds. How can one conquer a plant with roots like that?!!!
