We're back; Elena can scream really loud; we moved to Sumner,WA.

At 2am Elena woke up screaming as if she saw the boogie-man.  I tried to calm her, but she kept screaming really really loud.  Then I thought, 'what if she is still asleep, like sleep-walking, but sleep-screaming in her case?'  So I tried to wake her, if you can imagine.  Nope, the slap in the face only made her scream more.  I felt bad.

Oh, by the way, we moved!  To podunk land.  It's called Sumner, WA.  Moving was a difficult decision.  We loved where we lived.  We loved our neighbors and our church friends.  We love them and we will miss seeing them.  That is our biggest sorrow.  We moved mainly because Sumner would be between my work and Dan's work.  I can have access to our car in case I'm called into work.  Dan will take the train to work.  The train station is less than a mile away.  It just made sense for now.  Bitter sweet.

Sumner is a small town, not too far but not too close to Mt. Rainier.  It's a pretty sight.  I just hope that it won't blow while we live here.  I've never really lived in a small town before, so let's see how it goes!

P.S.  I just changed our title page.  You like?

Many times child give us warning by crying:
-Sudden stop breathing, or difficult..
-Bad dream,
-colic, stomach ache,
-constipation or blotting gas.
(you might need check)

I hope this might help you.

I remember... many long nights...
rocking a child back and fort... gently padding her back Trying to calm down.
Most of the time it worked unless really sick.
I think when you "hold close to your bosom they feel warm energy from mother and calms down while listen to your heart beats."

I knew Sumner Washington well. I lived there for four years. When I was 7 to age 12. We lived about a mile from a Safeway store. It's a beautiful view driving up that mountain/side of the hill as you are coming up to see Mt. Rainer, isn't it? I still have a few friends that live around there. I will have to ask my parents for our old address, maybe you could drive by my old house I grew up in! haha, like you care to do that!

Hope you like it there. I haven't been back to that area since we moved, so I am sure much has changed. But I did talk to a childhood friend who still lives in the area and she said it's grown but not too much. I am sure the ward boundaries are all different too, but you should ask some of the people in the ward that have been there forever if they remember the Newman's.??

Okay - Jackson does that screaming thing a LOT. The best definition we've come up with is that it's night terrors....they're asleep, and apparently not really scared or upset. You can't really wake them up and "they" say not to. I can't help myself though, and I always go in his room and lay with him and try to get him to a coherent place. It usually takes like 30 minutes for him to calm down and get tired enough to go back to sleep. It is so sad. He never remembers it when he wakes up though!
