for time and all eternity

Yesterday Dan and I attended a marriage for time and all eternity. It was for a couple we know, who have been preparing themselves after 7 years of civil marriage. I remember when there were rocky moments in their relationship and the bond was threatened to break...

But they pulled through. It was a touching ceremony. I was more overwhelmed to tears yesterday than at my own wedding! (uh oh, hehe) But sitting there, Dan and I both reflected on our own marriage. It takes work on both sides.  It also takes Eternal support.  "It takes Christ-like love" --Elder Holland.
