Project Bunk Bed

Dan's paper is done!  Celebrate!  Celebrate!  And now, on to more exciting events, like PROJECT BUNK BED!

Since we decided to stay in a 2 bedroom apartment with THREE kids, we wanted to maximize the space better in the kids' bedroom.  We didn't want a standard twin-sized bunk bed because it would take up too much space. So Dan made plans for a toddler-sized bunk bed!  (It was my idea.... and noOOOooo, we didn't fight about the plans!  Ok yes we did, but we are at peace now that everything turned out great.)

Step one: (Last week) Dan created the bunk bed plans:

Step two: (Mon/Tues) Dan bought wood at Home Depot, and Elena helped him cut it by standing on the wood to hold it still. (sorry no picture)

Step three: (Wed) Genny and Elena painted the wood.  (It was a hot day)
Step four: (Thurs-Sat) Dan assembled the bed (with Elena making something creative on the side - a bed for her dollies)
