I said I would blog weekly. I am sorry. Now that we use a laptop instead of a desktop, I have to make more of an effort to blog, and so I am slacking. I will try harder!
In the summer CORA TURNED ONE!!!!
(Also, Michael turned 3, Dan turned 33, and Elena turned 6! Yikes, where are their pics? )
Before we moved, I got rid of this bookshelf that documented Elena's height. (Poor Michael never had one. Second kid. He insisted on posing next to Elena's height chart as well.)
Elena is a kindergartner! And she takes the bus!
For the first week, she just hopped on and went right to the back of the bus with the fifth graders. However, she has learned to sit with the younger ones closer to the front. Thank goodness.
Elena is adjusting to a lot of changes.
Starting school, changing wards, and moving into a new place... BAM BAM BAM.
She has been a bit emotional at times, and we are trying to be patient and loving with all that....
....yup, we've had to say goodbye to some things, like a bathtub!!!
But honestly, our little cottage is appearing more and more cozy than when we first moved in. Really, truly, why don't you believe us!?! ;)
