Febuary

So I started instagram, which is a lot easier for me to upload pictures.  However, I know some family members don't have instagram, so I'm just going to copy them here with their captions:

I'm sure God created children to be cute for several reasons, but I'm pretty darn sure one of the reasons is for their survival. After taking this picture, I turned and noticed that Cora crayolaed all over the other side of the couch.😣😣😣😣

Sometimes I have a really hard time living in the northwest. My California roots crave heat and light. But a friend reminded me that on clear days, you see so much majestic beauty. It's true. This is a lovely place.

Today I asked the kids if they wanted to go on an adventure. They declined and just wanted to make kites. They remind me that it's OK to take it easy. K.I.S.S.

"Elena, your job is to pour the macaroni into the pot..."

We moved away from the compound on Saturday. Today I stopped by to get leftover mail. Couldn't help but take a picture. We lived in the cottage on the left. 550 sqft according to Alyce, but Dave claims it's 580 if you count the stairwell, ha. Goodbye small house, the simple life. Goodbye Eltons. Kids want to play with me way too much, ha.  We need to take a family photo together here!
